Direct connection to curzon mayfair cinema. Ideal base for discovering London. Free Wi-Fi - was a nice touch.

Breakfast was okay. The staff always tries to be friendly
Room (No. 200) had no functioning central heating, a radiator was insufficiently warming, and from the window (apparently everything was already very leaky) it was always cold. Bathroom of course ice-cold. No possibility to do web check in for the flight, a receptionist directed me to the nearest internet café. Price was originally very good for this location, but under these circumstances. The whole house which I already knew is in need of renovation. Hotel allegedly belongs to a casino group, they must have the necessary change. Generally bad hotel quality in London, many houses with expensive, windowless rooms (Z-group) and incredibly outdated. According to Austrian terms. they all have one star.

It's very cold in the room, blowing out the window.

Otherwise, the staff was mostly friendly and the rooms were clean. The location is good, just under five minutes walk to the Greenstation, from where you can quickly get to all the important places. Buckingham Palace can also be reached on foot in barely ten minutes.
The rooms were pretty run down (scratched doors, broken lights ...), and you can't open any windows. Which creates pretty bad air in small rooms. The heating makes you warm, but it is very loud. As Genius Bucher we had booked two hours late check out, which we were granted, but not particularly friendly. Otherwise we had to sign that the credit card will be charged for 50 € in case we take something from the minibar. Would be okay in general, but we didn't have a minibar.

The heating system in my room 509 threw out cold air all night, My Blackberry UK plug would not fit any plug in the room. Kept awake by the sound of running water all night

Location
The hotel is small and the rooms are quite pokey. For the price I would have expected something something better

Well, I was supposed to stay at the hotel for 2 nights but I could not stand the noise at all the time it’s like you are in a small box, the location was good, but it’s not worth it to stay at this hotel, stuff were not helping at all. Rooms are super dirty I still can’t believe it’s a 4 star hotel??!! Bathroom was a night mare, I been charged more than the rate coz I diced to check out the next day.
